Internal tecRacer Migration Bootcamp in Frankfurt!
As businesses adapt to the rapidly changing global environment, it has become clear that upskilling employees is essential to tackle complex challenges. And what better way to do it than through an intensive migration bootcamp!
This training program is designed to provide internal colleagues with the tools and knowledge needed to manage data, applications, and infrastructure migration to a new system or cloud environment.
Some highlights of tecRacer’s Migration Bootcamp in Frankfurt on 20th and 21st April:
Christian Franzl, leader of our Migration Competence Center, brought up interesting topics regarding the Assess phase and synthesized how to build the deliverables for the AWS Migration Acceleration Program (MAP).
Philip Dörning, also leader of the Competence Center, gave hands-on experience performing an Optimization and Licensing Assessment (OLA).
Benjamin Wagner, team lead Switzerland, also added value to the Bootcamp by explaining how to get the most out of the AWS Well-Architected Tool to empower our customers with tecRacer’s Well-Architected Review.
Fabrício Monteiro, an AWS Black Belt at tecRacer, reiterated the importance of the Cloud Operating Model and summarized some of the most crucial topics to create a Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE).
Throughout the bootcamp, our colleagues were given ample opportunities to work on real-world migration scenarios and gain practical experience. This experience helped them develop the skills and confidence to manage similar projects in the future. Additionally, they networked and collaborated with colleagues from other teams, building valuable relationships for future cross-functional projects.
The migration bootcamp was a resounding success, empowering our employees with the skills and knowledge necessary to confidently tackle complex migration projects. We are thrilled to see the positive impact this training will have on our company’s ability to navigate technological changes successfully and thrive in an ever-evolving business landscape.
Special thanks to Philip Dörning and Christian Franzl for the organization and for challenging the team to level up and raise the bar.
